Ecopetrol to use PSM/Streamz in Colombia Foothills project
IRT, Denver and PERA have been awarded a study in the Colombia Foothills area.
Requested by Ecopetrol, International Reservoir Technologies (IRT) and PERA have been asked to do
a study involving the seven main Llanos Foothills Reservoirs. The study is intended to assist Ecopetrol in
evaluating variations in operating practices and implementation of possible
black-oil-loss mitigation procedures.
The 2006 study would extend
the 2005 work to examine the impact of Nitrogen (N2), LPG
extraction, well interventions and additional development within the commercial
and non-commercial areas of the seven reservoirs. PSM/Streamz
will be used to run multiple production scenarios to optimize
extraction of maximum commercial values in the assets.
